“When I was a school- girl my Dad worked nights. One Saturday morning, thirteen years ago I heard him come in from his shift early so got out of bed to go down and see him. Instead of standing in the kitchen my Dad was lying flat on the floor. I couldn’t work out what was going on. He just said ‘get your Mam’. He was having a heart attack. He died six or seven times. All the time this was happening the radio was on playing ‘Heaven’ by Bryan Adams.
He was alright in the end but every time I hear this song I feel really emotional.”
